10 Reports Every Nepali Retailer Should Pull at Month End

Ten month-end reports for Nepali retailers: sales, stock, valuation, purchases, and the few questions an owner should answer before the accountant asks.

Retailers drown in reports they never read, then cannot answer a simple question in filing week. A short pack, pulled on a fixed date, is more useful than a login nobody opens.

Sajilo IMS sales, stock, purchase, and valuation reports cover the operational half. Rent, wages, and the statutory statements still go to your accountant with this pack attached.

The ten to pull

One: sales for the month by day. Two: sales by payment type, so cash, wallet, and credit are separate. Three: sales by product or category, to see what actually moved. Four: returns, so net sales are not the gross bill total. Five: stock on hand by location.

Six: stock valuation, using the costs you received. Seven: low-stock and, where you use it, near-expiry. Eight: purchases and goods received, including short deliveries. Nine: stock adjustments and damages, with reasons. Ten: customer and supplier balances you intend to collect or pay.

What to look for in an hour

Sales that do not match the drawer and wallet routine you already run. Stock value that jumped without a receipt. Adjustments that are larger than usual. A customer balance that has only grown.

If a report is empty, the data was never entered. Fix next month’s habit. Do not type a fake total into the export.

Hand the same pack every month

Save the exports with the month in the file name and give that set to your accountant. Adding a new mystery spreadsheet each month makes the books worse.

Branch businesses should pull the ten per location and once combined. A single blended stock figure hides which shop is empty.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need all ten on a quiet month?
Yes, the same list. Quiet months are when errors hide. The pack should take less time, not skip steps.
What if valuation looks wrong?
Check missing costs and receipts dated in the wrong month before you change a method. Valuation follows what was received and sold.
